What's new in VisitAssist

The VisitAssist field app is now on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, alongside Android on Google Play. This page lists what changed recently, newest first, so you can see what your team gets today.

November 2026: iPhone app, email reports, faster claims

VisitAssist on iPhone and iPad. Field agents can now install VisitAssist from the App Store as well as Google Play. It does the same job on both: GPS selfie check-in, today's schedule, expense claims with bill photos, and ChatAssist by text or voice. Work saved without signal is sent once the phone is back online.

  • Email reports you design. Admins choose what a report contains, who gets it and how often, and send it with the company's own sender name, reply-to address and look.
  • My Visits map. The day's visits appear as labelled pins on a map, with a full-screen day view in the app.
  • Team compare. Managers see team members' days side by side, with the map first.
  • Faster claim approvals. On the phone, swipe to approve or reject, approve several at once from "Waiting for you", and see each claim's history and receipt thumbnails. On the web, the status chip leads with the next step: Approve, then Mark as paid.
  • Maps links work from a computer. Paste a Google Maps link when adding a client or visit and the place fills in.
  • State and city pickers on check-in and schedule forms, with your organisation's own cities first.
  • First-time tour. Each person gets a short tour for their role the first time they sign in, and can replay it from the profile menu. ChatAssist also answers "where is…" and "take me to…" questions.

Also new this month: reminders, sign-in and reassigning visits

  • Reminders that arrive. Visit reminders, quiet hours, daily digests, and notifications that open the right screen. Managers can approve a claim straight from a notification.
  • Sign in with email or mobile number.
  • Reassign visits in three steps, one at a time or in a batch.
  • App lock and a left-site warning on the phone, text that scales up to twice the size, and screen-reader labels throughout.
